About Us

The church in Elk Grove consists of a group of about 50 Elk Grove residents–adults with children, teens, and students–who sincerely believe in and love our Lord Jesus Christ (John 3:16, Mark 12:30). Our church family comes from diverse ethnic and professional backgrounds–teachers, engineers, state workers, and professionals in the medical, construction, and computer industries, among others. In 2000, the church was born out of prayer and a burden to meet in the New Testament way–day by day and house to house in one accord (Acts 2:46-47). We gladly receive all newcomers, whatever their background, with the simple desire to enjoy Christ as our love, joy, and peace, as we grow together in our faith for God’s purpose.

“And day by day, continuing steadfastly with one accord in the temple and breaking bread from house to house, they partook of their food with exultation and simplicity of heart, praising God and having grace with all the people. And the Lord added together day by day those who were being saved.” -Acts 2:46-47
